“The Dreamer”-Youth Mural Project
Megan was invited to work with The Salvation Army youth group to create a mural in the youth centre. The mural design concept was co-created based on the ideas of the youth. We started out talking about the idea of home, that the youth centre feels like a place they can be themselves. We then talked and played with materials around the developing idea of what freedom looks like, and how we could make a mural that would make you feel that way looking at it. Pictures below show the progress of the project.
